Description: Players Theatre Company is auditioning 20 to 30 performers of all ages for its Christmas musical at The Owen Theater. Auditions start with singing, then move to a movement call and cold readings from the script. Performances run Fridays to Sundays from 4 to 20 December 2026, with a compulsory tech week from 29 November.
Requirements: All ages welcome. Principals include Doris Walker (female, 25-45), Susan Walker (female, 8-13), Fred Gailey (male, 25-45) and Kris Kringle (male, 55-70), plus supporting and ensemble parts. Prepare one memorised musical theatre song of no more than 32 bars; an accompanist is on hand and a Bluetooth speaker is recommended. Chorus hopefuls sing group numbers from the show.
Pay: Community theatre production: the notice sets no audition fee and no performer payment.
How to apply: Sign up on the Players Theatre Company auditions page and attend at The Owen Theater, 225 Metcalf Street, Conroe, on Monday 21 or Tuesday 22 September at 7pm. Callbacks, if needed, on 23 September.
