Description: 10Nineteen Entertainment is casting additional roles for "SisterGirls", an independent dramedy series about five Black women and the way they hold each other up through friendship, love, work and healing. Shooting is split into three blocks in Newport News and Hampton, Virginia: 21-25 August, October and November 2026. Block 1 needs Khayree (recurring, 30-36) and several adult male day players; Block 2 needs Miss Cookie (40s-50s), Mr. Richard (late 40s-60s), Calvin (32-36), Blair (32-36), Principal Riggins and a group of teen students aged 13-17. The listing is published by the Virginia Film Office.
Requirements: Adult and teen performers as per the role breakdown; local talent from Chesapeake, Norfolk, Newport News, Hampton, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, Portsmouth and Franklin is preferred. Students and emerging actors are welcome. Minors need parental consent.
Pay: Paid: appreciation stipends for recurring and day players, settled at the end of each filming block. No fee is required to submit.
