Description: «Sold!», an independent short film directed by W. H. Chambers and produced by Bobby Wiggins, is casting two leads to shoot in Richmond, Virginia in September 2026, with rehearsals from mid-August. The roles are HOMINY, a Black man in his 50s-70s, physically flexible and with experience in accent and vocal work, and M, a Black man in his 20s-30s playing an urban farmer. The call is published on the Virginia Film Office casting hotline.
Requirements: Black male performers in the two age brackets. HOMINY requires physical flexibility and accent/vocal work experience. Availability for rehearsals and the September shoot in Richmond. Self-tapes are prepared from script samples supplied by the production. Applying is free — no fee is asked of candidates.
Pay: $175-200 per day
