Paid extras casting for the «Challenger» limited series in Kennesaw, Georgia (4 October)

Description: Casting TaylorMade is looking for background performers, uniformed specialty roles and photo doubles for «Challenger», a limited series based on the true story of the 1986 Space Shuttle disaster and the space program around it. This scene films on Sunday, 4 October 2026 on the Kennesaw campus, in the Atlanta area. Roles include NASA personnel, mourners, press, producers, reporters and camera operators, military representatives, government officials, Secret Service agents and White House aides, Air Force and Navy officers, police officers, sheriffs and Texas Rangers, plus photo doubles for Ronald and Nancy Reagan. Booked performers must attend a costume fitting between 27 September and 1 October. The source gives no deadline: the date shown is our estimate, set so that there is still time for the fitting.

Requirements: Local hire only: you must be able to work as a local, as travel and housing are not provided. The military and law-enforcement roles use existing period uniforms, so exact current measurements are required. If you want to work on the series, stop cutting your hair now.

Pay: $182 for 12 hours for background; $196 for 12 hours for featured or directly selected roles.
