«Wicked» on Broadway and North American tour: singers open call in Chicago, October 5 (The Telsey Office)

Description: The Telsey Office is holding an open call in Chicago for singers who move well, for principal and ensemble roles and future replacements in the two North American productions of «Wicked» (Broadway and the national tour). The call is on Monday, October 5, 2026, at Ballet Chicago, 17 North State Street, 19th floor; callbacks on October 6 in Chicago. Equity and non-Equity singers are welcome and union membership is not required.

Requirements: Singers aged 18+, any ethnicity and gender, with strong voices and a wide range, who move well. Legal authorization to work in the United States. Prepare 16 bars of a contemporary musical theatre song a cappella (sopranos may sing a traditional legit song) and bring sheet music and a photo and résumé stapled together.

Pay: Contract roles in a Broadway or touring company (terms set by the production). Attending the open call is free.

How to apply: Go in person on October 5 to Ballet Chicago: sign-in starts at 10:00–10:30 a.m. and you must arrive by 12:30–1:00 p.m. (times differ slightly between the Equity and non-Equity lines; see the listing). Do not arrive before sign-in opens.
