Old Academy Players, Philadelphia: unpaid auditions for "Be Here Now" on 19 September

Description: Old Academy Players, the long-running community theatre in Philadelphia's East Falls, auditions its production of "Be Here Now" on Saturday 19 September 2026 at 10am, at 3544 Indian Queen Lane. The roles are non-union and non-paying, i.e. volunteer community theatre. Four roles are open: Bari (40s-60s), Patty Cooper (40s-60s), Luanne Cooper (around 20) and Mike Cooper (40s-60s). Auditions are cold readings from provided script excerpts, so nothing needs to be memorised.

Requirements: Adult performers matching the listed age ranges. Performers who have already acted with the company must take out or renew their membership. Fill in the theatre's audition form in advance. Bring your conflict list. No prepared monologue required.
