Description: Screen Queensland, the state screen agency, keeps a year-round talent pool for paid attachments on productions it supports. Successful applicants are placed for roughly five to twelve weeks alongside experienced practitioners in roles such as assistant director, camera, sound, costume and script supervision. The agency contacts everyone in the pool each quarter to refresh their details, so the register is genuinely live. Applications never close; the date shown here is an indicative sixty-day horizon.
Requirements: Queensland residents who meet at least one of: a relevant qualification from a university, TAFE or vocational course; production credits on at least 30 minutes of content; or transferable skills from a parallel trade such as electrician, carpenter or make-up artist. Full-time film and television students are not eligible.
Pay: Paid work: attachees are employed by the production company at a minimum of Level 1 MEAA rates. There is no application fee.
How to apply: Apply through the Employment Hero application form linked from the SQ Attach page on the Screen Queensland website.
