Description: Chanticleer Shakespeare Company holds Equity principal auditions for Romeo & Juliet on Monday, November 23, 2026 (9 am–5 pm) at Actors' Equity Association, 5636 Tujunga Ave, North Hollywood. Roles: Romeo, Juliet, Tybalt, Benvolio, Nurse, Lord and Lady Capulet, Lord Montague/Apothecary, Paris, Prince Escalus and ensemble. First rehearsal March 16, 2027; opens April 9, closes April 18, 2027. The company also holds an open audition in Fresno on Saturday, November 21, 2026 (9 AM-5 PM, Historic Warnors Theatre, 1400 Fulton St), per its casting page at chanticleershakes.com/casting; Equity contract with a minimum weekly salary of $510, non-Equity $200 a week.
