Description: The Casting Collective is the background artist database used by casting directors for film and television productions shooting in British Columbia, successor to BCF Casting. Registration is completely free and the site states that no fees or commissions are ever charged to performers, who keep all their earnings. Once your profile is live, casting directors book you directly for paid background work on series and features filming in the Vancouver area. New performers are asked to read the Background Artist's Guide before creating their profile.

Requirements: Residents of British Columbia or Alberta with a valid Canadian Social Insurance Number; all ages and looks; no experience required

Pay: Paid background work; performers retain all earnings, no fees or commissions charged
