Description: American Idol has opened its nationwide "Idol Across America" search for Season 25, giving anyone the chance to audition online from any US state, free of charge, in front of the show's casting producers.

Requirements: Must be a US citizen or permanent resident (proof required); turning at least 15 by February 15, 2027; not currently signed to a major record label.

Pay: Auditioning is completely free with no participation fee; only contestants who advance and ultimately win the competition receive prize money.
