Paid background extras & stand-ins for 6-month feature film shoot (OnCue Talent)

Description: OnCue Talent is building its cast of background performers for a feature film that shoots across roughly six months in the Blue Mountains, greater Sydney and the Central Coast. Both complete newcomers and trained actors are wanted: general background work has no experience requirement, while supporting, bit-part, featured, stand-in and body-double slots are reserved for people with formal training or credits. The agency states in writing that applying costs nothing and that professional photos are not required. Intake is ongoing with no closing date published, so the 5 October 2026 date shown here is our own conventional cut-off for a permanently open call.

Requirements: All ages, ethnicities, body shapes and sizes for background roles; formally trained or experienced actors only for supporting, featured, stand-in and body-double roles. Applicants must be Australian residents or hold a valid work visa, have a valid Tax File Number, and must not be exclusively signed to another agency.

Pay: Every role is paid at MEAA rates, including penalty rates, overtime and holiday loading. The agency takes its commission only from jobs actually booked.
