Screen Ireland October 2026 funding rounds open to Irish producers

Description: Screen Ireland has published the deadlines for its next funding rounds, open to Irish production companies and creative teams. Production Funding and Distribution Funding both close at 1pm on 26 October 2026, while Development Funding closes at 1pm on 30 October 2026. Applications are made through the Screen Ireland online portal and are assessed against the published guidelines. There is no application fee, but projects that do not meet the published criteria are ruled ineligible automatically.

Requirements: Qualifying Irish producers and independent production companies registered and based in Ireland, with projects matching the relevant strand (feature film, TV drama, documentary, animation or distribution). Applicants must read the Development, Production or Distribution Funding guidelines before submitting.

Pay: Repayable and non-repayable funding awards depending on the strand; no fee is charged to apply.
