Description: Rapid Blue is putting together the South African version of the logic-based quiz format for the kykNET channel. One hundred players face questions built on reasoning rather than general knowledge, and the field narrows round after round until only the sharpest few remain. Recording takes place in studios in Johannesburg.
Requirements: Adults from 18 upwards, fluent in Afrikaans, comfortable with puzzles and lateral thinking, and able to organise their own travel to the Johannesburg studios. Applications as a duo are accepted, but each person fills in a separate form and plays individually.
Pay: Every player starts the game holding R1 000; the production states a total prize pool of R100 000 shared among the winners. No fee is requested from applicants.
How to apply: Complete the online entry form on the production's audition portal (personal details, background, motivation and a short video clip of up to 20 MB explaining why you would win), or write to the address given by the broadcaster. The window closes at 23:59 SAST on 31 October 2026.
