Description: New York Theatre Workshop holds Equity Principal Auditions for BLOOD BE SWEET, a poetic ritual drama by Abigail C. Onwunali directed by Awoye Timpo, moving between New York City and Nigeria. Roles include ADAKU (Nigerian, female, early 20s), IFEOMA (Nigerian, female, 18+ to play 11–16) and KASEEM MOORE (Black American, male, 20s–30s). First rehearsal March 22, 2027; opening May 10, 2027.

Requirements: Equity actors 18+; a short monologue of your choosing; headshot and resume stapled together; familiarity with Nigerian or West African languages is a plus for some roles.

Pay: Off-Broadway contract, $1,290 weekly minimum (Cat. CC) plus media fee.
