Description: Arraya Studios, a Nigerian production house working out of Lagos, Port Harcourt and Enugu on films, short films and commercials, keeps a permanently open online audition for new acting talent. Instead of the usual queue outside a gate, the studio asks you to film yourself at home and send the clip in. Submissions are kept on file and drawn on when the studio casts its upcoming projects. Complete beginners are explicitly welcome.
Requirements: Aged 18 or over (written parental consent if younger). Open to applicants based anywhere in Nigeria and in the diaspora. Record a monologue of no more than one minute, filmed with clear sound and good lighting, ideally against a plain background. Open your clip by stating your name, age and where you live.
Pay: Nothing is charged to applicants: the studio states there are no registration fees. Fees for a specific role are agreed with the production only if you are selected.
